Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of lawn and garden equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires solid mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a quick paced environment.

Duties:
Performs diagnostics and repairs on 2-cycle and 4 cycle lawn/garden equipment.
Use dealer portals to look up parts required for repairs
Participates in service training programs required.
Maintains current knowledge of products.
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
Follows all safety rules and regulations.
Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
Accounts for all time and for all material used in performing assigned tasks.

Skills and Requirements:
Experience as a small engine technician.




Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of lawn and garden equipment.
Ability to use computer for parts lookup functions.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
Professionalism when communicating with clients.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
