Full time summer position with the opportunity for winter work and year-round employment for the right candidate. Must be available a minimum of 40 hours per week as well as any additional time as requested. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating heavy machinery and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure work is done safely and effectively.

Duties
Operate skid steer loaders with precision for excavation, grading, and material movement across diverse construction projects
Dig, grade, level and prepare job sites.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Collaborate with other team members to execute site plans accurately and efficiently
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary




Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working setting

Experience
Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including skid steers, loaders, backhoes, etc.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
Prior experience in construction or excavation projects demonstrating familiarity with site preparation and grading techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites
Demonstrated understanding of safety standards and best practices in heavy equipment operation
