Cruise Travel Consultant - Job Responsibilities
Assist customers with cruise enquiries, itinerary selection, cabin categories, pricing, promotions and booking arrangements.
Recommend suitable cruise products based on customers’ travel preferences, budget and requirements.
Prepare quotations, process reservations and collect required passenger information and payments.
Communicate with cruise lines, suppliers and the internal operations team regarding bookings, promotions, itinerary updates and special requests.
Provide professional after-sales support, including booking changes, travel documents, online check-in information and general cruise preparation.
Maintain accurate customer records, booking details and sales reports.
Follow up with potential customers and develop long-term customer relationships.
Assist with general office administration and daily operational duties when required.
Qualifications and Skills
One year of sales or customer service experience in the travel industry is an asset.
Previous cruise sales or travel agency experience is preferred but not required.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin is a solid asset.
Solid communication, sales and customer service skills.
Good market awareness and an interest in cruise travel.
Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple bookings and customer enquiries.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Willing to learn about different cruise lines, destinations, cabin categories and promotional offers.
Training will be provided to candidates without previous cruise industry experience. Job Type: Full time
