We are hiring two on-air broadcast professionals for the Rugby Ontario OWL Premiership Cup on August 9, 2025 :
This is a paid, one-day prospect to be part of a provincial rugby event. The successful candidates will work as an on-air duo, providing live coverage, insight, and energy throughout the event. This broadcast is managed by dnode, on behalf of Rugby Ontario.
Responsibilities
Deliver real-time play-by-play coverage
Prepare rosters, match notes, and storylines
Coordinate with production crew and color commentator
Provide in-game analysis, strategic context, and storytelling
Prepare profiles and key talking points in advance
Complement the play-by-play call with engaging, rugby-informed commentary
Both roles:
Represent Rugby Ontario’s brand and tone professionally
Be available and ready on August 9, 2025
Venue Location : 22 Powerline Rd, Brantford, ON N3R 0B9
Qualifications
Experience in live sports broadcasting or public speaking
Rugby background preferred (especially for color commentary)
Strong on-air presence, articulation, and timing
Ability to prepare independently and work under pressure
Must be available for the event day
