The Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council is hiring three C6 delegated Social Workers to manage full caseloads. This position demands travel and focuses on supporting First Nations families, utilizing your experience to address their unique challenges and build enduring community support services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate child safety needs and reports
• Engage with Nations for consultative safety practices
• Assess family vulnerability utilizing trauma-informed actions
• Develop and implement collaborative family plans
• Maintain cultural connections for Nuu-chah-nulth children
Requirements:
• BSW or related degree with progressive social work experience
• Familiarity with Nuu-chah-nulth culture and traditions is a plus
• C6 Delegation required or eligible
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Provide a criminal record check and skilled references
