Vac Truck Operator/Labour to work with underground crew performing various utility works; daylighting utilities, conduit installation, duct banks installation, concrete pouring, chamber installation, working with grades and vac excavation for footing installation.
Operation of Hydro Vacuum Truck
Driving Hydro Vacuum Truck
Vehicle and Equipment inspection and recording
Exposing utilities, excavations for Drill crew and Pole base excavation with Vacuum Truck
Hoisting and rigging
Follow direction for Foreman and participate in all safety requirements
Ability to read drawings, and utility locates is an asset
Keep company equipment cleaned, greased and maintained.
Lay and connect conduit, install chambers
Swamp for utilities
Other general labour tasks
Experience: 2+ years of utility experience
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, independently, high-change setting while managing multiple interruptions and adjustment sot priorities throughout the day.
Valid AZ or DZ Drivers License and clean driving records.
If not currently a member, hired employee will join Local 183 LIUNA.
