FORACO CANADA Ltd., an international drilling company servicing the Canadian mineral exploration market, is currently accepting resumes for experienced Diamond Drillers to work on Helicopter supported fly jobs, requiring strong technical ability, safety awareness, and teamwork.
Wages and Benefits:
36.00 to $40.00 per hour plus applicable Overtime

Duties and Responsibilities:
Drillers are responsible to safely operate specialized mechanical or electronic equipment, tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific task will include but are not limited to the following:
Operate and maintain diamond drilling equipment safely and efficiently
Execute drilling programs to meet production and safety targets
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drill rigs and support equipment
Work effectively in helicopter-supported, remote job sites
Ensure all safety,
environmental, and company policies are followed
Complete accurate drilling reports and documentation
Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to maintain productivity
Valid Training Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of diamond drilling experience - helicopter-supported (heli-portable) drilling operations
Valid certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Isolation Theory training, etc. – or as required)
Surface and/or Underground Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent)
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in remote locations under demanding conditions
Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
Physically fit and capable of handling labor-intensive work
