Party City is currently hiring for Temporary Seasonal positions.

We have 7 Temporary Cashier/Customer Service positions available for the Halloween season.

This duties of this position include, but is not limited to:
Handling cash and credit machines
Checking out guests purchases
Maintaining the front counter area
Putting out freight on shelves
Organizing shelves and fixtures
Fulfilling balloon orders for guests
Making balloon bouquets
General cleaning and organization of the store
Helping customers find products in the store
Putting out freight on shelves
Merchandising
Taking out trash
Helping customers with all of their Halloween needs including costumes and accessories.
Maintaining the floor and putting items back where they belong




Organizing shelves and fixtures.
Greeting customers
Checking bags and receipts
Warehouse stocking

Requirements for all Positions:
Basic math and typing skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision with computerized systems
Experience in a customer service role
Ability to operate a cash register is an asset but not a necessity
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb ladders
must be able to life at least 40lbs
Must be able to handle latex balloons
Must have own transportation - some shifts begin before, or end after public transit finishes operating for the day.

Based on performance some temporary employees could be asked to stay on after the season on a more permanent contract. Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.95 per hour
