Summary
The Maintenance Team Lead oversees a team of Technicians in delivering preventative and corrective maintenance, routine, and on-demand services for assigned facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring work adheres to established processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements, while also performing maintenance tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead a team of Technicians, assign and monitor work, and review performance.
Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Perform and oversee maintenance and inspections of facility systems.
Coordinate work orders, troubleshoot issues,



and respond to service requests.
Maintain records, manage operational contracts, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
Participate in projects, manage tools and expenditures, and support safety and operational meetings.
Work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Work Requirements
Availability to work shifts, be on-call, and respond to emergencies.
Willingness to wear PPE.
Qualifications
5+ years of facility operations and maintenance experience.
High school diploma with trades training and certification.
Proven leadership skills.
Advanced knowledge of facility systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of fire, safety, and building codes.
Strong safety mindset and client service orientation.
Effective communication skills.
Licenses & Certifications
Journeyman Electrical License.
Building Operator Certification.
Systems Maintenance Administration Certification is a plus.
