We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Sheet Metal Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sheet metal roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings. Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, and install sheet metal roofing materials using hand tools and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure precise installation
Secure roofing panels with appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and weatherproofing
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing roofing systems, including replacing damaged panels or flashing




Use caulking techniques to seal joints and seams for optimal waterproofing and durability
Lift heavy materials safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring devices
Construction experience with a focus on roofing or metal fabrication preferred
Solid carpentry skills for framing support and structural adjustments
Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical instructions
Experience with caulking for sealing applications in roofing systems
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or working at heights
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in various construction tasks

Pay: $21.24-$30.00 per hour
