This role offers exposure to the agile luxury retail and precious metals sector.Role SummarySales & Marketing Specialist (Independent Contractor) is a hybrid Vancouver-based opportunity combining in-store and remote work. You connect with customers, support sales transactions, and contribute to brand marketing activities to boost local visibility.Key Responsibilities
Engage prospective clients, present jewellery and bullion products and respond to customer inquiries
Support sales processes and customer follow-up
Assist planning and execution of marketing campaigns, manage social media presence and contribute promotional content
Track sales and marketing performance, compile customer trend feedback to optimize merchandising and in-store displays
Support internal product training and collaborate with leadership to lift brand visibility

Qualifications




Strong communication and customer service skills to engage diverse clients and team members
Retail sales experience; sales planning and performance tracking knowledge is an asset
Ability to deliver product education and informal training to collaborators
Interest in jewellery, luxury goods or bullion, with capability to rapidly learn product specifications
Basic proficiency with social media platforms, digital marketing tools and POS systems
Detail-oriented, self-sufficient and able to collaborate within a hybrid working model
Adaptable availability to cover peak shopping periods as required
Education or coursework in Business, Marketing, Communications is an asset; equivalent practical experience is accepted

Working ArrangementThis is an Independent Contractor engagement. Fully flexible scheduling without fixed mandatory hours. You can balance this collaboration alongside other commitments. Remuneration is performance and deliverable-based. Contractors are self-responsible for income tax, CPP, EI and insurance. Pay: $19.04-$50.52 per hour
