Essential Responsibilities
Safe & cost‑effective maintenance of heavy mobile equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and site requirements.
Conduct pre‑trip/walk‑around safety inspections and complete daily field‑level hazard assessments for all activities.
Complete maintenance reporting and other documentation as required.
Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
Be a leader in safety and production by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
3+ years previous experience preferred.
Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
Must successfully complete pre‑access drug and alcohol testing.
Must have a valid Driver's License and clear 3‑year driver's abstract.
Experience with equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, and Hitachi.
Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
Ability to work rotations, shifts, and overtime.
