Occupational Therapist – Casual
Full Time and Part Time opportunities available in a unionized workplace in Simcoe County (Barrie).

Responsibilities

Assess and build accurate therapy care plans based on clients’ home environments, including developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety.

Use critical thinking and creativity to provide complex preventive or corrective actions for a variety of clients with diverse needs, solving problems that interfere with their ability to do things that are important to them.

Partner with clients’ family members, caregivers, and other health care professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans.

Work within a hybrid model of care, including face‑to‑face and virtual sessions, to build a schedule that works for you and your clients.

Provide independent, flexible OT services while receiving dedicated support, mentorship, and training from a stable multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Graduate of a recognized post‑secondary program in Occupational Therapy.

Current active registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists.





Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred.
