Position Summary
Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) at our plant in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is a full‑time, permanent, unionized position. Shift work may be required. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining in good working order all plant machines and mechanical equipment, and for installing new equipment when required.

Position Requirements

Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) Red Seal Certified Interprovincial Standard Certificate is required

Minimum of three years of experience with troubleshooting, repairing, leveling and aligning large numerically controlled machines

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, CNC machines, vacuum furnaces, lathes,



presses and shears

Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to work under tight time constraints and on‑call

Ability to work safely at all times within specified safety requirements (e.g., PPE and respirator)
