Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain organized and attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
Provide knowledgeable advice on gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance products
Support inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
Assist customers with product inquiries both in-store and via e-commerce platforms
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment
Process sales transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Communicate product features and benefits clearly to diverse customer groups, including multilingual audiences if applicable
Requirements
Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is advantageous
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a quick-paced environment
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms is desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
Ability to work flexible schedule as needed to support store operations
