This is a full time on-site role as a Program Director at KITA Academy in Grande Prairie, AB. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing staff, developing and implementing educational programs, and ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children.

Are you an experienced daycare Director looking for an opportunity to influence the development and growth of a brand new daycare facility?

We are looking for an experienced professional to be a part of our team and help us grow! The role of the Director will lead the way for a child care program focused on the social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Company?

KITA Academy will be opening its first location which will be a 112-children capacity program providing an onsite outdoor play space, full kitchen, open and naturally lit classrooms. We believe KITA Academy will not only be a place for children to grow, but for our staff to grow as well.

Qualifications
Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, and Program Management skills
Team Leadership and Staff Management experience
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education best practices




Organization and Time Management abilities
Experience in Education Administration or related field
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field

The Director position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a director role, an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree (Level 3/CDS), a current first aid certificate, and a current criminal record check (within 6 months). Job Type: Full-time
