We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will manage the entirety of the blister pack responsibilities in the pharmacy
Responsibilities
Verify patient information, prescriptions, and medication orders for correctness
Independently manage the full blister packaging cycle: order entry, cycle fill scheduling, packing, refills, verification, and delivery coordination
Maintain blister pack profiles in Kroll
Manage all the billing and reconciliation for all blister pack patients
Reconcile inventory specific to compliance packaging patients
Communicate proactively with patients, caregivers, and long-term care/retirement home staff regarding medication changes, discontinuations, and new starts
Manage cycle-fill calendars to prevent missed or late packs
Perform technical checks per NAPRA/OCP standards (final RPh check remains with the pharmacist)
Maintain accurate documentation for OCP and ODB compliance
Requirements
Previous retail, pharmacy, or fulfillment experience preferred
Knowledge of Kroll is required
Robust attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced healthcare setting
Certification as a pharmacy technician is mandatory
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
