Richmond Hospital's Mental Health Team is looking for a Psychiatrist to join their part time staff. This role focuses on treating patients in in-patient and outpatient settings. In this position, you will engage with the Richmond Adult Mental Health Team, handling reliable mental health conditions requiring comprehensive care. You will assess patients across various wards and collaborate with primary care teams.

Your role includes developing psychotherapy programs and supervising residents, ensuring quality mental health education and care. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat psychiatric patients in wards and emergency units
Consult on inpatient psychiatric cases effectively
Manage mental health conditions in community settings
Create and facilitate psychotherapy programs
Oversee the training of psychiatry residents Requirements:
Provisional certification from CPSBC essential
CCFP eligibility required for this role
CMPA membership is essential
