Presidential Management Group (PMG) oversees multiple residential and commercial properties throughout the Okanagan. We are committed to maintaining high standards in building care and tenant satisfaction. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team on a part-time or on-call basis.
Position Summary:
As a Plumber with PMG, you will respond to plumbing-related service requests across our portfolio of buildings. Jobs may range from easy repairs like replacing dishwashers or unclogging drains, to identifying and resolving more complex leaks or plumbing system issues. You will work both independently and with our maintenance team to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
In addition to general plumbing maintenance, this role may also involve work on renovation projects, which would require more scheduled hours. This includes installations and upgrades in units undergoing full or partial renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
Troubleshoot and identify plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
Conduct inspections to assess plumbing condition and detect potential issues
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and trades on renovation or repair projects
Assemble and fit pipes and fixtures according to codes and specifications
Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
Participate in plumbing work as part of renovation projects, with potential for increased hours
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven plumbing experience; Red Seal certification or trade qualifications an asset
Knowledge of BC plumbing codes and regulations
Ability to read technical plans and blueprints
Robust mechanical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Must have access to tools and a reliable vehicle
Availability for on-call emergency service as needed
Willingness to work additional hours for scheduled renovation proj
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
