Advanced Health Recovery is a family run clinic that has been servicing the Markham and surrounding area for over 18 years. We are located on the N/E corner of Woodbine and Highway 7 in the LA Fitness plaza.

We offer variety of health services including Massage Therapy, Chiropractic care, Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Rehabilitation, and Custom Orthotics. The clinic is dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and recovery goals with personalized and comprehensive care. We offer a very competitive split salary. We are located on the 2nd floor office in a busy plaza with referral potential from Family Medical and Dental Practices down the hall. Role Description

This is a part-time, in office role. The position is to help support our Senior massage therapist who is looking to reduce their hours and help assist potential candidate take on their patient/clientele. Days' available Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The RMT will be responsible for assessing patient conditions,



developing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy. Additional responsibilities may include educating patients on injury prevention and post-treatment care, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients throughout their recovery journey.

All supplies including oil/advanced therapy lotions, sheets, towels, hydraulic table, rehab workout room, and administrative support. Qualifications

Clinical skills in assessment and treatment

Ability to educate patients on injury prevention and post-treatment care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be insured, licensed and in good standing with the CMTO and registered to practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge and collaboration with other health services including Massage Therapy, Chiropractic care, Naturopathy, and Acupuncture is a plus
