Ready for your first mission?
As part of its Assess & Mobilize initiatives, Cortex Génie Humain is seeking an AWS Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mandates focused on in-depth analysis, workload assessments, and cloud migration readiness. This role is centered on analysis, structuring, and recommendations, upstream from delivery phases.

Your Responsibilities
Assess & environment analysis

Conduct in-depth technical assessments of existing environments

Analyze workloads, application dependencies, and technical constraints

Apply recognized frameworks (for example, the 7R migration model)

Define AWS migration strategies





Recommend target architectures and modernization approaches

Assess costs, risks, and operational impacts (FinOps)

Technical assessment reports

Technical recommendations

Migration roadmaps

Contribute to the quality and consistency of client deliverables

Collaboration & presentations

Collaborate with Architects and Project Managers

Participate in technical and executive presentations

Clearly explain findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Your Profile
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field

8+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud environments

Demonstrated experience in AWS Assess, Mobilize, and migration initiatives

Experience in professional services or consulting environments

Key Skills

Robust understanding of AWS architectures

Excellent analytical and synthesis skills

Strong knowledge of migration models and workload assessments

Rigor, autonomy, and analytical mindset

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bilingual French and English required

Certifications (assets)

AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect

Migration or FinOps certifications
