Assistant Producer - EA SPORTS FC Mobile, Business Operations
The Assistant Producer of the Business Operations team will work closely with central organizations such as Publishing, Marketing, ASO, Legal & Release Management teams on behalf of the Development Team, helping to manage and organize live event promotions, draft messaging for players, and provide operational support to cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have production or design experience on a live service game and experience writing copy for in‑game events or player‑first communications. This person will work within the highly collaborative arm of the Business Operations team for FC Mobile, connecting the development studio (based in Shanghai) with the global marketing, publishing, social media and community teams on the world's biggest soccer/football game.

Responsibilities

Work with the community management team to understand users’ needs and write critical in‑game communications that serve our audience.

Work with Fan Care teams to provide guidance on communications to give information to fans and players.

Draft engaging marketing copy that meets legal and licensing requirements, reflects a clear understanding of the game and the value for users.

Review in‑game copy for campaigns and tutorials, improving their quality and tone for an English‑speaking audience.

Work with interdisciplinary global teams to coordinate marketing deliverables and ensure their highest quality and success.

Identify opportunities to grow our live operations services and tools, and work in collaboration with multiple partner groups.

Report to the Business Operations Lead in Vancouver and partner with global/regional teams in multiple time zones—including Shanghai, Australia and Singapore.

Qualifications





2+ years’ experience working in game development or social media management, production, game design or equivalent.

Communications experience—drafting copy for games or a major social media account.

A passion for global football/soccer and ability to discuss current teams and players in leagues such as the EPL, LALIGA or popular clubs.

Basic Photoshop skills; experience using the tool for social media is an asset.

Robust organizational skills; self‑motivated and capable of managing priorities effectively.

A commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all team members.

Ability to speak more than one language is an asset; specify languages in your resume.

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA expects to pay applicants for this role in North America at the time of posting. Pay is based on relevant business and candidate factors (education, qualifications, experience, location, etc.).

British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): $67,000 – $92,700 CAD

In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (three weeks per year to start), ten days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage plus basic life insurance.
