We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy family practice in the heart of Kitsilano! In this vital role, you will provide top-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support overall treatment plans. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient assessments, including medical history updates and vital signs
Support the dental team with chairside assistance during procedures such as orthodontics or pediatrics treatments




Manage patient records using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a comfortable experience

Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist in valuable standing
Experience with Cleardent or other dental office management software preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
2 plus years of experience
Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient interaction
