Responsibilities
Measure & cut small glass orders - Install glass shower enclosures, railings, partitions, sealed units, mirrors, commercial storefront glazing, and interior commercial glazing. - Some metal fabrication will be required
Remove broken or damaged glass and prepare surfaces for glass installation
Repair or replace damaged glass in windows, doors, and other structures
Ensure proper fit and alignment of glass panels
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment to minimize the risk of accidents
-Valid driver's license and clean abstract required
Experience
At least 5 years of previous experience as a residential glazier
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the glazing industry
Solid attention to detail and ability to work with precision and on a team
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation or repair
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Wage will be based on experience. Note: This is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
