Duties
Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through engaging conversations about their painting projects.
Provide expert advice on paint types, finishes, color matching, and application techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products from a wide range of paints, primers, stains, brushes, rollers, and accessories.
Demonstrate product features and benefits to help customers make informed decisions.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor that highlights new products and seasonal trends.
Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while ensuring excellent customer service.
Keep inventory stocked and organized, including checking stock levels of popular items like digital design tools or color charts that enhance the shopping experience.
Experience
Previous retail or sales experience preferred, especially in home improvement or hardware stores.
Strong knowledge of paint products, color theory, and application techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly and confidently.
Passion for customer service with a positive attitude and energetic approach to engaging shoppers.
Basic computer skills including familiarity with POS systems.
