What you’ll do
Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks
Maintain safety records, reports, and incident/near-miss investigations
Liaise with employees and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) Case Managers.
Responsible for WCB case management and return to work process.
Ensure PPE and fall protection equipment certification is up to date
Communicate with management regarding safety issues
Prepare and manage safety-related paperwork, including forms, reports, and documentation
What You Bring
Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR)
Knowledge of Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act and construction site regulations
Strong communication and reporting skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license / own vehicle
