Duties
Work safely in open excavations
Lay pipes according to project specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections
Guide mainline operator safely and properly
Inspect installed piping for leaks, damage or misalignment, making adjustments as needed
Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work workplace to prevent accidents
Assist with site cleanup and restoration after pipe installation is complete
Skills
Proven experience in pipe laying or underground utility installation preferred
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively
Robust understanding of pipe and manhole installation ,safety regulations, and environmental standards
Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality workmanship
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
Valid driver’s license; CDL certification is a plus but not required
