We are currently hiring Pipe Layers for sewer and watermain construction projects in the Ottawa area.

Successful candidates will work as part of a crew installing sanitary, storm, and watermain systems on municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Install sanitary, storm, and watermain piping
Set pipe to grade using laser and elevations
Perform bedding, backfilling, and compaction
Assist with pipe alignment, connections, and tie-ins
Work with operators and foremen to maintain production
Maintain a protected and organized job site

Requirements

Pipe Layer:
Previous experience in sewer and watermain installation
Ability to read grades and work with a laser
Robust understanding of proper installation practices





Pipe Layer Helper:
Construction experience is an asset
Willing to learn and take direction
Reliable and punctual

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Overtime available

Schedule
Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturdays as required
