We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pipe Layer to join our energetic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining underground piping systems essential for infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safe and productive installation of water, sewer, gas, and electrical conduits.

Duties
Lay and install underground pipes using various heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bucket trucks
Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, assemble, and secure piping systems with precision
Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position pipes during installation
Conduct site inspections to ensure proper alignment, depth, and safety standards are met throughout the project
Use welding techniques to join pipe sections where necessary, ensuring durable connections
Assist with electrical work related to low voltage wiring for utility systems when required




Maintain equipment such as bucket trucks and low voltage tools, performing routine checks and basic repairs
Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry regulations

Skills
Solid mechanical knowledge of piping systems, tools, and heavy equipment operation
Experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
Knowledge of electrical systems related to low voltage wiring for utility or communication lines
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications accurately
Excellent physical stamina for manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively
