As an RN, you will assess and manage the complex psychiatric needs of older patients, providing essential care and support. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, facilitating therapeutic interventions and developing comprehensive care plans tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the mental health needs and create care plans
• Facilitate individual and group treatment modalities
• Provide psycho-education and skills training
• Participate in patient advocacy and rights promotion
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and training
Requirements:
• Certification from an approved School of Nursing
• At least 1 year of related mental health experience
• Active registration as RN/RPN in BC
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License certain
• Understanding of treatment approaches for mental health
