Responsibilities
Lead the coordination drawing process and provide direction on model coordination, as required.
Review and interpret prime contract requirements and building systems subcontract scopes, supporting effective contract administration of trade contractors.
Assist with the review of change notices and change orders related to building systems, assessing impacts to scope, pricing and schedule.
Coordinate with utility providers to ensure services are delivered in alignment with the project schedule.
Review building systems trade contractor quality management programs for completeness and compliance with project specifications.
Attend and contribute to management, owner and architect meetings related to building systems.
Coordinate and monitor building systems trade activities and support enforcement of approved quality management programs.
Adhere to and actively support internal safety programs and site safety requirements.
Understand and support the planning and coordination of temporary services required throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Trades qualification or post‑secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls, or similar).
Three years of progressive experience in mechanical and/or electrical construction is preferred.
Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, principles and practices.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability when responding to changing project demands and deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil and structural drawings.
Working knowledge of applicable building codes and regulatory requirements.
Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet conflicting deadlines, and delegate tasks effectively.
Comfortable working in an active construction site environment and collaborating with project teams and trade partners.
Understanding of architectural and other trade scopes and how they interface with building systems.
