About Us

We are a quick-paced commercial print and large-format graphics company looking for a detail-oriented Prepress Operator with basic graphic design skills to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing artwork for print, solving file issues, and occasionally assisting with design projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare customer artwork for digital, and large-format printing
Review files for print readiness, identifying and correcting issues before production
Set up artwork with bleeds, crop marks, and proper colour profiles
Perform preflight checks and ensure files meet production specifications
Create or modify simple artwork and layouts as required
Communicate with customers and internal staff regarding artwork requirements
Maintain organized digital files and job records
Work closely with production staff to ensure high-quality output and meet deadlines

Qualifications
Experience in a prepress, print production, or graphic design environment
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, especially: Illustrator and Photoshop




Working knowledge of PDF workflows and print file preparation
Understanding of CMYK colour, bleeds, resolution, and print specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have
Experience with large-format printing
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign
Experience with RIP software or digital print workflows
Experience in signage, vehicle graphics, retail displays, or commercial printing
