Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing support to the head chef and other kitchen staff.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
Follow recipes and instructions from the head chef to ensure consistency in food quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
Ensure all food items are stored correctly to prevent spoilage or contamination.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations,



including cleaning workstations and equipment after use.

Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques, with a solid understanding of cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods.
