The Jolly Coachman Pub is seeking a dedicated Line Cook (LC) to join our culinary team. The LC will prepare and cook menu items according to our specifications, ensuring high-quality food and presentation standards. Working closely with the Head Chef (HC), Sous Chef (SC), and the rest of the culinary team, the LC will help maintain our reputation for excellent food.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items following our recipes and specifications.
Sanitation: Adhere to The Jolly Coachman Safe Food Handling practices and local health standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Food Quality: Ensure all food meets our high standards for quality and presentation.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks and maintenance to uphold a sanitary and protected workplace.
Stocking: Set up and restock food service stations as needed.
Respectful Workplace: Maintain a respectful and professional work setting in line with our organizational policies and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Hours and shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work is performed in a restaurant kitchen.
Wage is negotiable based on experience. Starting wage is $18.25/hr + tips.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous culinary experience of 3+ years.
Certifications: Food Secure Level 1 is required.
