We are seeking a passionate and skilled Masseur/Masseuse to join our wellness team and deliver exceptional massage therapy services to our clients. In this role, you will provide therapeutic and relaxing massages that promote physical well-being, reduce stress, and enhance overall health. Duties
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massage.
Assess client conditions and discuss their wellness goals to recommend appropriate treatments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment workplace in accordance with health and safety standards.
Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels and any specific preferences or concerns during sessions.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client feedback, and progress notes for future reference.
Ensure proper use of massage equipment and supplies,
including oils, lotions, and linens.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times while fostering a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Masseur/Masseuse or in a similar therapeutic massage role.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology to better understand client conditions.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and listen attentively to client needs.
Certification from an accredited massage therapy program or licensing where applicable by local regulations.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
