AVIT has a number of outstanding projects on the go right now, and we need to expand our team. We are currently looking for a Millwright to build complex tooling and equipment in the shop, and then lead the installation team at customer sites. This work will include welding and fitting – both in the shop and on site, hydraulics, precision assembly,
and machining.
You will need to use your skill and experience to work with other Tradesmen, our Engineering team and our customers to develop custom engineered designs that solve real world manufacturing problems.
The schedule is generally straight days, Monday to Friday – with the exception of equipment installations, which can require working off shift or weekends.
This position is based in our facility in Peterborough and includes benefits and an hourly bonus for site work.
