Role Description The Order Desk role at Centura Tile is a full-time, on-site position based in Ottawa, ON. The individual in this role will manage incoming orders from customers and sales representatives, ensuring accurate order entry, updates, and adjustments in the system.

Day-to-day tasks include processing orders, verifying product availability, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams, and monitoring order status to ensure timely delivery.



The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues related to orders, and providing product and order information in a transparent and skilled manner.

The Order

Desk team member will collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain efficient workflows and uphold Centura Tile’s service standards.

Qualifications
Strong Order Management and Order Processing skills to accurately handle and track customer orders.
Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive relationships.
Solid Analytical Skills to review order details, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving.
Proficiency with order entry systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP or CRM software).
Experience in distribution, retail, or a similar environment is an asset.
Ability to work on-site in Ottawa, ON, with attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related field is an advantage.
