We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting with medication administration and maintaining the pharmacy's operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices, contributing to a positive healthcare environment.
Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Maintain inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
Process prescription orders and verify patient information for accuracy.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.
Stay updated on pharmacy regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Experience
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred.
Familiarity with medication administration processes and medical terminology is essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with Kroll is preferred
