We are seeking a Human Factors & Ergonomics Skilled to support the design, development, and validation of Flight Deck and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for aerospace programs. This role focuses on applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to develop safe, intuitive, and certifiable cockpit interfaces through usability analysis, 3D modeling, simulation, testing, and validation.

The ideal candidate has experience in Human Factors Engineering , Flight Deck/HMI development , 3D modeling , and aerospace systems , with a solid understanding of aircraft certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Apply Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to Flight Deck and HMI development.
Design and evaluate cockpit interfaces using Human Factors methodologies.
Develop and assess 3D cockpit models using CATIA, Siemens NX, Jack, or Rhinoceros.
Conduct usability studies, ergonomic evaluations, and interface assessments.
Perform validation and verification activities for Flight Deck systems.
Develop interface specifications and support product evaluations.
Participate in simulation, rig testing, and design reviews.
Support recent aircraft development,



cockpit modifications, and sustaining engineering programs.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, certification, and maintenance teams.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, ergonomic requirements, and certification regulations.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and validation results.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Design, Ergonomics, or a related field.
Experience in Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics.
Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies.
Experience with Flight Deck or Human Machine Interface (HMI) design.
Hands-on experience with CATIA, Siemens NX, Jack, or Rhinoceros.
Experience conducting usability testing, validation, and verification.
Knowledge of aircraft systems including Avionics, Flight Controls, Mechanical Systems, and Propulsion.
Familiarity with aerospace certification standards.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
English required; French is an asset.
