Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Supervisor to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives at a contstruction/mine site in Northern Saskatchewan. In this vital role, you will oversee compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety awareness, and ensure that all operations adhere to industry standards. Your energetic approach will motivate teams to prioritize safety at every stage of construction, fostering a secure and productive work workplace.

The ideal candidate will possess solid construction experience, enabling seamless integration of safety protocols into daily workflows.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies tailored to construction and mining activities
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure proper safety measures are in place, and enforce compliance with safety standards
Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and educate team members on best practices
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses thoroughly; document findings and recommend corrective actions




Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety procedures into project planning and execution
Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
Ensure all personnel are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and that safety signage is visible and up-to-date

Experience
Proven experience in construction supervision or management within the construction and mining industry
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction and mining sites
Hands-on experience conducting site inspections and risk assessments
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders
Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and foster a culture of continuous safety improvement

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
