The HSE Supervisor is responsible for ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across petroleum operations, waste management, marine services, and haulage.
The role combines regulatory enforcement, risk management, staff training, and environmental protection to safeguard people, assets, and the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
HSE Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, Nigerian statutory regulations, and international best practices (NEBOSH, ISO, OSHA).
Risk Management: Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), HAZOP/HAZID studies, and risk assessments for petroleum operations, waste management, and marine services.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and environmental spills; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
Training & Awareness: Organize inductions, safety drills, toolbox talks, and continuous training for staff and contractors.
Environmental Compliance: Monitor pollution control measures, waste disposal practices, and environmental consultancy projects to ensure sustainability.
Operational Safety:



Supervise haulage fleet inspections, marine vessel safety checks, and facility audits to prevent operational hazards.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.

Key Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE within oil & gas or related industries.
Qualified certification such as HSE Level 3, NEBOSH, IGC, ISPON or its equivalent
Robust communication, problem solving, analytical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure.

Salary N400,000 – N500,000 per month (However, the salary can be negotiated upward depending on the candidate’s experience)
