We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall guest experience by providing exceptional custodial and cleaning services within the hotel or hospitality setting.
Prior experience in hospitality, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a clean, protected, and comfortable setting.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas to uphold cleanliness standards
Assist with laundry and linen services as needed
Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials in designated areas
Ensure all areas are maintained in a sanitary and organized manner
Support maintenance staff with minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention
Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
Assist guests with their needs when required,
providing courteous and professional service
Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and supply rooms
Experience
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with hospitality standards and procedures is a plus
Experience with cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals used in commercial or industrial settings is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Positive communication skills and a skilled attitude are essential
