Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to promote health and comfort
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement
Requirements
Proven experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes preferred
Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
Knowledge of dementia care strategies and techniques for managing cognitive impairments
Ability to administer medications accurately and responsibly
Robust caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
Capable of performing light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
Certification or training in home care or caregiving is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
