We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be experienced, skilled, responsible and reliable. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety in the workplace. Position will be full-time hours but will be dependent on work load. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. In this position, pay will be determined on experience.
Experience in metal roofing and pre-engineered steel structures would be an asset.
Duties
Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up and breakdown of work areas
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace to promote safety and efficiency
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Support the installation of structures, fixtures, or infrastructure as directed by supervisors
Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or safety hazards to management promptly.
Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
Skills
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting others in office
Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
Valuable communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues promptly
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing project needs
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus but not mandatory
Prior experience in manual labor or construction environments is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
