Hi-Tech Scales Ltd. is a COR Certified company with Industry Canada certification providing sales and service of industrial scales to a variety of industries including construction, fishery, mining, and oil and gas.

We are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Industrial Scale Technician. The following is a list of qualifications for the position.
Must have an electrical/mechanical background.
Must have basic knowledge of computer scales.
Must be able to work in a quick pace workplace.
Must be capable of working alone & with groups of people.
Must be able to communicate issues & problems with management & other staff members.
Have knowledge of safety manuals & on-site safety requirements would be an asset.
Experience in repairing Industrial & Retail Weigh scales would be an asset.




Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
Willing to provide in-house training.
Valid Class 5 drivers licence required with clean drivers abstract.
Successful completion of Measurement Canada Prerequisite exam required.
Must be able to travel out of town to perform on site service calls & contracts throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Clean criminal record screening certificate & vulnerable sector check required.

Salary commensurate with qualifications. Job Type: Full time
