Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Serve food to customers in a friendly, efficient manner while adhering to food handling protocols
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped




Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold high standards of food quality and safety

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
Basic cooking skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a busy kitchen setting
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning current skills
Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness and safety is a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
