Work Environment
Permanent full-time role
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm
Weekly on-call rotation (no after-the-meter work required)
Education & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Preference for ticketed Gas Utility Operator or Gasfitter
CSA-approved steel-toe boots (required)
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (airbrake endorsement is an asset)
Driver’s abstract required upon request
Qualifications
Experience in gas utility operations
Knowledge of natural gas distribution systems
Familiarity with CSA Z662 and CSA B149 standards
Backhoe operation experience (asset)
Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
