Join Our Growing Team Prime Integration is a growing industrial automation company helping manufacturers across Ontario with machine troubleshooting, PLC programming, CNC machinery support, machine commissioning , and industrial automation solutions.
We are looking for an Industrial Automation Technician to grow with our company. This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and working directly with customers.
You will work directly with the founder and receive hands-on training through real customer projects.
Responsibilities • Troubleshoot industrial machinery, including CNC machines, electrical control systems, and industrial automation equipment.
Perform machine testing, startup, and system validation.
Diagnose electrical, control, communication, and instrumentation issues.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Assist with PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and software modifications.
Provide professional on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
Participate in technical training and continuously develop industrial automation knowledge.
Minimum Requirements • Diploma or apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrician, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant technical experience.
Valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle.
Willingness to travel directly to customer sites throughout the GTA and occasionally across Ontario.
Eligible to work in Canada.
Solid communication skills with fluent English.
Work Location • Field-based position serving customer sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and occasionally across Ontario.
Regular travel to customer sites using a personal vehicle is required.
A company vehicle may be provided in the future based on business needs and job responsibilities.
Work from home from home may be required when performing programming, documentation, or other assigned tasks.
