Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our agile food service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal production
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve meals efficiently to customers or table service staff, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a secure working workplace

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting colleagues and serving customers
Basic understanding of meal preparation and serving processes
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety regulations
