Duties
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, sinks, and storage areas to ensure a protected working environment
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as peeling or chopping ingredients when needed
Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations




Follow food handling and safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage
Help with setting up dining areas or assisting servers during busy service periods when required

Experience
Previous experience working in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar food service environment is preferred but not essential
Familiarity with cleaning routines within a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous
Basic understanding of food handling practices and hygiene standards
Experience with food preparation or cooking tasks is a plus but not mandatory
Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy periods
